Operations Department Team Member


With immediate effect we are looking for a highly motivated person to support our Commercial team.


  • Day-to-day operations of the ships including but not limited to: navigation, inspections, cargo operations, agency appointments, daily reporting, bunkering, laytime calculations, speed/consumption & performance monitoring, handling cargo documents, dealing with claims if any, etc.
  • Maintaining and ensuring safety standards and procedures are executed.
  • Involvement in the analysis and monitoring of operational data to ensure potential problems are averted.
  • Providing advice to vessels, fleet management and customers to ensure smooth and uneventful execution of voyages.
  • Implementing procedures to improve quality, productivity and efficiency.


  • 3-5 years’ experience as Operator preferably from ship owning side and in dry bulk
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills to analyse operational data
  • Fluent English and excellent communication as well as strong negotiating skills
  • Ability to create and/or promote business
  • Willingness to travel
  • Team player
