You will be joining an established and experienced commercial team. MINSHIP’s current fleet consists of 15 handy size bulk carriers on the water, as well as 2 MPP’s. Other fleet management disciplines are in-house as well.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be in charge and manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned vessels
- Oversee scheduling, route planning, and operational efficiency
- Coordinate with vessel masters, port authorities, and clients
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards
- Build and develop relationships with all stakeholders
- Work closely within the team and other departments to optimize the voyages
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent English/ willingness to travel/ effective communication skills
- Min. 3 years’ experience in maritime commercial operations in an owner/operator set-up
- In-depth knowledge of shipping operations and procedures
- Ability to work within a team and independently as well
- Excellent problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Commercial awareness and cost-control focus with sufficient knowledge of charter parties
- Working experience with Veson will be a significant advantage

We are a team of about 55 employees onshore as well as the seafarers offshore and operate from two locations, Schnaittenbach in Bavaria and Hamburg.
