With immediate effect, we are looking for a highly motivated person to support our Commercial team.
You will be joining an established and experienced commercial team and take responsibility for the operational management of part of the fleet. MINSHIP’s current fleet consists of 15 handy size bulk carriers on the water, as well as 2 MPP’s. Other fleet management disciplines are in-house as well.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Involvement in the day-to-day operations of the ships including but not limited to voyage planning, inspections, cargo operations, agency appointments, daily reporting, bunkering, lay-time calculations, voyage performance monitoring, ship - shore / shore - ship communication etc.
- Maintaining standards and environmental procedures
- Involvement in the analysis and monitoring of operational data for pro-active measures to be taken
- Implement procedures to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency
YOUR REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum three to five years' experience in the dry bulk sector as Operations Manager
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills to analyze operational data
- Fluent English and excellent communication as well as strong negotiating skills, German language knowledge is of advantage
- Working experience with Veson desirable
- Willingness to travel
